Shaba gives back to his community

Nhlanhla Shabalala is celebrating 10 years as a professional player with a visit to his old primary school in Mpumalanga.
 
In recognition of his loyal service to the Urban Warriors, Shaba and his team mates will pay a visit to the Lifalethu Primary School, Mbalentle in Mpumalanga on Thursday to conduct Soccer Clinics and present the principal with a framed, signed Ajax Cape Town jersey.  
 
Shaba was plucked from streets of Mbalentle in Mpumalanga and Lifalethu Primary School to move to Cape Town where he was accepted into the Ajax Youth Academy. 
 
He joined the Ajax Cape Town development in 2000, and this year he celebrates his 10th year as a full-time professional with the club. 
 
Since his arrival Shaba has excelled on and off the field of play, in an era that the Ajax Youth Academy produced the likes of Stanton Lewis, Bryce Moon, Mfundo Shumana, Clifford Ngobeni, Nazeer Allie etc.
