Eyong debuts for Fulham FC

Ex Ajax Cape Town footballer Eyong Enoh made his debut for Fulham FC v Tottenham Hotspurs FC on Sunday.

Eyong completed a loan move from Ajax Amsterdam just before the transfer deadline closed in January 2013.

The Daily Mail in the United Kingdom reported; “The move for the Cameroon international midfielder was confirmed by the Dutch club (Ajax Amsterdam) on their official website, with Ajax saying he had signed with the option of a permanent deal.

The 26-year-old joined Ajax in 2008 after a successful spell with South African club Ajax Cape Town. Prior to that, he started his career with Turkish-Cypriot club Magusa TG SK.”

Martin Jol worked with the Cameroonian international midfielder during his time in the hot seat at the Amsterdam Arena, he told the Independent UK, “It's good to have him around because he's a very good player.”

This is the first time that two ex-Urban Warriors played in the EPL on the same weekend with Steven Pienaar running out in the colour of Everton on Saturday against Manchester United
